The curator of “Inspired by China, Heritage and Innovation" , Tineke van Gils, demonstrated her techniques of making teapots on the potter's wheel.
She also shared with the audience her stories and encounters in China - how she took inspiration from a Chinese cabbage from the farmers' market in Jingde-zhen, how she transformed a Meiping vase into a teapot, etc. The event was attended by many ceramic lovers and professionals from all over the Netherlands and even Belgium.
