In honor of Prime Minister Zhou Enlai, seven extraordinary performance artists performed short literary pieces: Performer Tie Jinliang, voice actor of the well-known TV program 'A Bite of China' Li Lihong, first class performer at the National Theater China Zong Ping, language performance artist Xue Fei, actors of the popular TV show 'In the name of the people', national star player Gao Ying, host of the Jiangsu TV station Fu Guo and the young actress Zhao Xiaolu.


They presented the poetries and classics that have been enriching the mind of the Chinese people for generations and eulogizing the Premier Mr. Zhou Enlai’s great personality and quality, such as “Zhou Enlai in the Eyes of his Western Friends”, “Please Allow Me”, “The Story of Begonia” and so on. The powerful voice and loving emotions touch the audience, even a tear is left. At the request of the audience, the performers give an extra bonus, performed few more poems. 


Afterwards, audiences are still immersed in the story of poetries and not willing to leave. Everyone is just hanging around for a while. A Chinese who has been living in the Netherlands for a long time is enthusiastically approaching the organizer: “Thank you so much, it was such a pleasure! The best poem performance I have experienced in the Netherlands so far! ” The event attracted many Dutch storytelling enthusiasts and there was a nice interaction between them and the storytellers.
