In September, the China Cultural Center in The Hague organized a week-long familiarization trip to Guangdong, China, bringing together senior tourism professionals from the Netherlands. The delegation visited Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shantou, and Chaozhou. 

From September 15 to 16, the delegation explored Shantou and Chaozhou, visiting a range of cultural landmarks and local historical and cultural centers. During the visit, the delegates experienced Chaoshan Gongfu tea and, dressed in traditional costumes, took part in Yingge Dance, gaining firsthand insight into the region’s rich cultural heritage and local traditions.
