The city Zhenjiang, in the south of Jiangsu Province, is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River. It is a well-known city with more than 3000 years of written history. It is a meeting point for different ancient Chinese cultures, such as the Wu and Chu culture.
Thanks to its rich cultural history and magnificent natural environment, Zhenjiang has been ranked among the top ten best Chinese cities to live in. As an enviously beautiful place, it has become a popular tourist destination.
Zhenjiang has also garnered international appreciation for its fragrant black vinegar, widely used in Chinese cooking.
