On May 14th , 2017 International Angling Cultural Exchange Forum & China Gyotaku Art Exhibition opened at the same time in China Cultural Center in Den Haag. Director for culture affairs of the Chinese embassy and director for of China Culture Center Mr. Yang Xiaolong, Chairman for Dutch Angling Association Mr. Joop Bongers, Director of China Leisure Angling Association Xiamen liaison office Mr. Zhang Yong , and Dutch National Angling Team Leader Mr. Jan Zekveld, China Angling Magazine Executive Director Li Haoqian attened the opening ceremony. More than 30 Gyotaku paintings display the essence of Chinese Gyotaku culture.

14 February 2026，the Happy Chinese New Year — Wu Opera Special Performance will be staged at The Hague City Hall
The "Chinese Zodiac" is a unique way for the Chinese nation to mark the year of one's birth
on February 2, the 2026 "Happy Chinese New Year" themed painted tram, launched by the China Cultural Center in The Hague.
